Choose the Right Board for Your Space

From classrooms to conference rooms, the correct board improves visibility, note-taking and collaboration. Our Board System combines writing surfaces, notice displays and stands so you can set up quickly and keep the room tidy.

Board Types & Uses

  • White Board – Smooth surface for dry-erase markers. Choose magnetic steel for magnets and accessories or non-magnetic melamine for light daily use.
  • Glass Board – Premium look, easy to clean and resistant to ghosting; use strong magnets designed for glass.
  • Black/Green Board (Chalkboard) – Ideal for low-glare writing with chalk; classic for training rooms.
  • Notice/Soft Board – Pin memos, posters and timetables using push pins or tacks.
  • Flip Chart & Pads – For brainstorming and workshops; available in A-series sizes with options for magnetic/roller stands.
  • Mobile & Presentation Panels – Move between rooms without re-mounting; good for flexible spaces.
  • Planners, Graph & Grid Boards – Speed weekly planning, scheduling and technical drawings.

Size & Thickness Guide

  • Board size – 2’×3’ suits desks and small huddles; 3’×4’ or 4’×6’ fits most meeting rooms; 4’×8’ covers training/classroom walls.
  • Thickness – 12 mm for light wall mounting; 18–24 mm adds rigidity for larger panels and heavy use.

Installation & Care

  • Mount at eye level with proper wall plugs; keep 90 cm walkway around the board.
  • Use dry-erase markers only on whiteboards; avoid permanent ink unless surface is glass.
  • Clean regularly with a board cleaner and soft cloth to prevent ghosting; do not use abrasive pads.
  • For notice boards, distribute pins evenly to avoid indenting one area.

FAQ

What’s the difference between magnetic and non-magnetic whiteboards?

Magnetic boards use coated steel so you can attach magnets and accessories; they are also more durable. Non-magnetic boards are melamine and suit lighter use at lower cost.

Which size should I choose for a meeting room?

As a guide: 3’×4’ for small rooms, 4’×6’ for standard meeting rooms, and 4’×8’ for training or classrooms. Ensure at least 90 cm walkway around the board.

What do the thickness options 12/18/24 mm mean?

They refer to the board core thickness. Thicker panels (18–24 mm) are stiffer and recommended for larger boards or heavy daily use.

Can I remove permanent marker from a whiteboard?

Use a board cleaner. If ink remains, write over it with a dry-erase marker and wipe immediately. Avoid strong solvents on melamine surfaces.

Which flip chart stands are compatible with your pads?

Our flip chart stands are designed for common A-series pads; check the product page for pad width and whether the stand is magnetic or roller-type.
